P2

It’s funny to look back at these old blogs that I feel like I wrote years ago. It’s amazing how time flies. It’s funny how my thoughts have changed, especially since I disagree with some of the blogs that I rote just last week already. I’d say that I’m rather content with my sophomore year up to this point. First, I said that in football I had hoped to win at least 6 games this year, and we did exactly that. We defeated Royhart-Barker, Niagara Wheatfield, lost to Albion, beat East, lost to Depew, beat Medina, beat Newfane, beat Pioneer and ended the season with a tough loss to Lancaster. My biggest regret from the football season was the Albion game. I know that we could’ve beat those guys, but we just had an off day, especially late in the game, when we had a chance to win and just couldn’t do it. Basketball season came next, and I was not asked to play on the varsity squad, so I knew I had to work my butt off on JV. And I truly thought that I did, although we struggled as a team and ended the season with 4 wins and 14 losses. I averaged 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game. I had hoped to be called up to varsity for the playoffs, but that didn’t happen either. I try to forget about this past basketball season. In terms of school, I have slacked. I don’t ever study although I know I should. My grades are at an all-time low; I currently have a 90.25 average at the end of the 3rd quarter. But I am sure that I will get that up to end the year. And I hope that I have become an all-around better person since posting that blog on Wednesday, September 12th.
