Television, where do I begin? Well like every other kid my
age, I’d say that yes, I watch television. But I don’t watch as much television
as the average guy my age. This is how my evenings usually go: Sports from 3
until 5, shower until 5:30, eat until 6:30, homework until 7:30 or 8ish, then I
usually play PlayStation until 9 or 9:30. Then I’ll do the laundry until 10ish,
and that’ll just about cap off my night. During sports seasons I don’t have
much time for TV, but there are most certainly a few shows that I like to watch
and that’s where DVR comes into play. The Office is the funniest show on
television, and it’s new on Thursday nights, so that’s often recorded and
watched at a later date when I’m bored and have time. New Girl is my favorite
show, and that’s new on Tuesday nights, and it’s always recorded. Modern Family
is my number 3 show, and that gets recorded on Wednesday nights.
During football season, my Sundays are spent watching the
NFL, and Saturdays revolve around the NCAA, so there’s not much time for the
average TV shows. During winter it’s kind of the same story. However, the spring
is my off season, and this is when I get my fix of TV. Lately I’ve been
catching up on my shows, since my DVR fills quickly, so I can delete the old
shows. It kind of makes me mad however, when people talk about episodes that
have already happened that I have not seen yet. It’s just a huge spoiler and
ruins it. I used to watch this show called the event and it was interesting. It
was about aliens or something, but it got canceled after the first season and I’m
very upset about that.
