This blog is supposed to be about my favorite music genre.
But I already wrote three hundred words on this topic. I went in depth on how
much I truly enjoyed my experiences and both the Toby Keith concert and the Zac
Brown Band concert this summer. And I really do not want to go in to detail on
that again. The reason that I have to rewrite this blog is because my previous
blog regarding music mysteriously went missing. That’s slightly strange if you
ask me. And this might sound strange, but since writing that previous blog
involving music, some of my feelings towards my favorite genre have changed.
The major reason for this is due to the ever changing seasons of the year. We
are now entering the winter season of the year, and that means that it’s time
for basketball. And that means that it’s time to establish a warm up cd, and in
the basketball world, Jason Aldean and Zac Brown just don’t get the job done in
terms of preparing me for a basketball competition. I’m more into the rap genre
now, as it seems to be just a better all-around fit for pregame situations. My
warm up cd starts off with some Young Jeezy, then goes to a little bit of
Drake, before switching over to Kanye and Jay-Z. Now all of these classic
artists are getting kind of old as the years go on, therefore young guns
Machine Gun Kelly has become a popular artist and he has made his way onto the
basketball cd as well. And then we got Skrillex. Now I can’t completely explain
to you what exactly what Skrillex is, but I like it. It’s loud, the bass is
excellent and the words are kept to a minimum. Good stuff.
