Q4 READ THIS BLOG

I wish I was famous. I wish I was rich too. I mean to a certain extent I guess that everyone does, but mostly for all the wrong reasons. I cannot stand celebrities these days. For example, the Oscars come around each year. Millions of dollars go into this event each year, by way of dresses, limos, tuxes, awards, etc.  I personally think that this is absolute BS. Think about this for a second; What if everyone attending the awards wore the same outfit as last year? And then with all the money they save, they donate it to a charity of their choice. That’s close to a million dollars right there alone. “But the press would make me look bad!” Shut the hell up. Honestly. First of all, stop worrying about what the press says for once. Second of all, if everyone wears the same clothing as last year, what could the press really do? This thought has been on my mind for a while now. Celebrities are jokes. Call me jealous, but it’s the truth.  And another thing. The lottery.  In my opinion, the lottery should be 50-50. Give half to the schools in the ghetto. Give the money that we saved on the Oscars to the same place. Give these kids hope and a chance to succeed in life so they can get the hell out of there. Give them a reason not to impregnate girls. Give them reasons to be fathers and mothers, and raise their children correctly.
On a brighter note; here’s a question that’s been lingering in my head for a long time now. If there’s conjoined twins, and one of them murders someone while the other is sleeping, do they both go to jail? (They cannot be separated because they share a vital organ)

Q3 Icon

My number one favorite current artist is Ben Maclkemore. More commonly known by his last name, this guy currently number one on my list. Everyone knows Macklemore because of his song Thrift Shop, but there’s just so much more to the guy than that. He is considered by most to be a comedy type of guy, but from what I have found, he actually sings/raps about some really important subjects. His second most popular song is Can’t Hold Us, which is a party song. It’s kind of a shame that his two most popular songs don’t have a very strong meaning, but I’m ok with it because I take the most from his other songs. Same Love is a song about gay marriage, and Macklemore raps about how he thinks that making fun of gay people is wrong. The chorus is sung by a woman whose name I cannot remember, but she is a lesbian and speaks of her significant other. It’s really a great song and I recommend it. The song My Oh My is about when the Seattle Mariners won the division series behind Ken Griffey. In this song, an excerpt of a radio broadcast from the actual game plays and it gives me the chills every time. The song Other Side is about the recent drug epidemic in the ghettos where cough syrup is being sold with codeine in it. It’s a very serious topic, and the song is really emotional as he talks about the death of one of his friends. He also mentions how popular artist need to stop writing songs about drugs because of the influence that it has on the fans of the music. My personal favorite song is Wings, it’s about the debut of Michael Jordan’s shoes, and how they became popular.

Q2

I have A LOT of summer plans. Austin Hopcia and myself recently sat down and began the construction of our Summer bucket list. It’s pretty extensive, and some of the things are absolutely classified and cannot be shared with the public and or the internet for that matter. Anyways, I’m really excited for the summer. I’ll most likely be working all summer long, at least 6 days a week to pay for my new car. I would like to play in the Gus Macker as well. It’s the huge 3 against 3 basketball tournament that takes place in the closed streets of downtown Buffalo. Over 1000 teams participate in it. I have played in it twice, and I had the same success both times, winning twice and losing twice as well. This year, I hope to improve my gameplay and take home a few more W’s. I also want to go to the zoo, mostly for the ocelots. I really want to see them up close and personal. That would be very interesting. I’m not playing travel basketball this year, so I can now I will have more time on my weekends. Also, this is the first summer with my license, so that’s going to be a good time. I’ll probably drive all over the place. Most likely Mexico. Cole LaMacchia came up to me today with a brilliant idea. He said that we should get our closest friends and rent a cottage in Sunset bay, and maybe stay for a long weekend and just hang out and be cool. Another thing that must happen, is that Domenic Brotz will come over to my house and hang out with my father. They have a strange friendship that began not to long ago, and it’s really strange. I’m not sure how I feel about it.

Q1

So I’m actually a really big shoe fanatic, and sneakers are near the top of my favorite interests list. This week, the “grape” color way for the Jordan 5’s dropped, and they were a big hit. This week, the 9’s drop in a black and blue color way for $120. I’m not really a big fan of either of these specific shoes but either way that’s what’s going on recently. The CP3 6 playoff edition shoes dropped two weeks ago, and I picked up the Neo edition. I’m actually wearing them right now believe it or not.  I’m pretty sure that besides the Glaser brothers, no one else in this town has the same shoe obsession that I do. Jordan started in 1985, when MJ started playing. Every year since, a new shoe got released that Jordan wore. We got to number 23, and that’s when Michael stopped playing. I have only ever owned the 7’s. The best-selling pair ever are the 11’s, and the low remix of the shoe comes out in June. Since 1998, every shoe has been pretty ugly and not as successful especially in the remixes. That means from 14 and on. I like to pretend that they were never made. If I were to rank the shoes,1-14, they would go in this order:
10
13
4
8
7
6
11
5
12
1
3
2
9
The Jordan brand also sponsors some NBA basketball players, and comes out with a new shoe each year for Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony each year. Melo is in year 7 of his shoe game, and Chris Paul is in year 5. Both of these guys dropped 2 new shoes this season, one for the beginning and another for the start of the playoffs, I’ll insert a picture of their shoes as well.

P4

So I have this new job at this place in East Aurora, and it’s called Leo’s Pizzeria, and it’s like really cool, so I’ll just write this choice blog about that. First of all, it’s a solid 25 minute drive to this place, but that’s not really a problem, because I am in love with my new car. I would drive this thing all day if I could. However the long drive is most likely going to become a problem when I run out of the full gas tank that came with the car when I got it. Anyways, I get there and the place is absolutely awesome on the inside. It’s a sweet looking sports par/pizzeria, with TVs everywhere and signed jerseys hanging in cases on every wall. The only problem with this is that I can’t really ever go in that room, because I work in the back in the kitchen, which is not as nice as the bar and or sitting area. Anyways, I work from 4 to 8, and it’s a pretty decent shift to say the least. First, I form the pizza dough on the trays. Next I gladiate the dough to aerate it. Then I place my fingers between the dough and the tray, and stretch the dough out. After that I pinch it near the edge to create the crust. After the cooler is full of stretched doughs, I take a few out and begin to prepare them so I am not stressed out when the rush comes and approximately 5:30 pm. I start by filling a ladle with this sweet sauce, that I absolutely love the taste of, and then I pour it on the dough and shake the tray to distribute it evenly. Then I fill the dough with cheese and wait for specific orders to come in!

P3 Money

I really wish I had money. I’m currently working two jobs. I work at this restaurant in East Aurora and I start today and I’m really nervous. But I hope I like this place because I work approximately 25 to 30 hours a week and that should bring in some good cash. I need money because I currently have a lot of prom debt and I need to pay that off. Prom is one expensive event. If I paid all at once the grand total would most likely come to a total sum of $350. That’s just an estimate however. After I pay the prom debt, I’ll be in better shape. However, I got a car on Saturday morning, and it’s awesome. However, it’s going to take a decent part of my pay check. First of all I have to pay $25 a week for the car, and then gas as well. The car (2013 Ford Fusion) gets like 34 miles to the gallon, so I’m not too concerned with that. So once prom is done, and if you take into consideration the car costs, I’ll most likely somewhere around 150-200 dollars a week left for whatever. It seems like a lot, but then we have to go ahead and break that down as well. First off, I have to save some of that money for the upcoming fall when my pay checks will be significantly lower since I will only be able to work on weekends because of football and school and all that jazz. So if I save like 50 dollars a week, that should leave me with somewhere around $100. We have to think that $25 of that will go to fast food, and that should leave $75 for fun. I will most likely invest this  money into shoes or clothes and or football equipment because it’s rather expensive and we all know that Wendy isn’t going to be wanting to pay for that.
