H2

What would I do to change the world for better? Wow. That’s potentially a very deep question, full of possible options.  Now of course, helping out the needy is the place where most people look to start. But let’s be honest for a minute. Yes, it’s wonderful to volunteer for things like soup kitchens and such, but is doing that really going to change the world? There’s only so much time to volunteer, and there’s only so many people that one person can help.  So I’ve come to the conclusion that in order to really change the world for the better, having money is the place to start. Whether it be making hefty donations, or building establishments to help people, a lot of money is needed. I think that if I was really going to change the world for a better place I would have to become the president of the United States first. So after that, I honestly think that the best plan to help the nation would be to bring back the idea of trickle-down economics, the idea that was originally founded by Ronald Reagan. The system works in an interesting way. The facts are as the following: the top 1 percent wealthiest people in the United States control 99 percent of the nation’s wealth. So that’s quite a bit. So the system works like this: the wealthiest people, who continue bringing in the largest pay checks will take a reduction that will then “trickle down” to the classes below, and so on. It probably wouldn’t be spot on with Ronny Reagan’s idea, but it’s similar so he needs some credit. And I see the United States as being a role model for the rest of the world, so maybe other countries would catch on and do the same. It might be a little bit farfetched, but hey, anything’s possible.
